What is Trichology?

Trichology is the scientific study of the hair and scalp.​

We are clinical specialists who use proven clinical diagnostic techniques to diagnose and treat our patients for scalp and hair concerns  including hair loss, scalp disorders and other issues related to hair and scalp health and offering a holistic approach to solution whilst working alongside medical professionals, counselling services, nutritional specialists and hair restoration professionals. ​

Trichologists examine the hair and scalp to identify and diagnose various forms of alopecia (hair loss), chronic hair shedding,  traction alopecia and forms of hair pulling (often from poor installation and maintenance of hair extensions), reasons for hair brittleness and breakage, itchy scalp, redness,  dandruff, scalp infections and other disorders that affect the hair and scalp.
