Initial Consultation - Standard
with Expert Trichoscopy Scalp Analysis
Our Initial Consultation is for our new clients or those returning after a period of 9 months. ​
​
This expert assessment involves a state-of-the-art scalp analysis using digital trichoscopy, a remarkable technology that allows us to evaluate individual hair follicles with focused precision and team with our professional consultation where we delve into the clients medical history, lifestyle, nutritional choices and relevant family history to understand the root cause of hair and scalp concerns and identify any underlying issues or potential causes contributing to hair loss, thinning and other concerns.

A Pre-Consultation Form will be emailed prior to your appointment to be completed and returned a minimum of 48hr prior to your appointment. This gather background information relevant for your consultation and allow the appointment time to be used to investigate further, conduct scalp analysis and other trichological examinations on your hair and scalp, recommend any blood tests for follow-up, and provide suggested diagnosis with treatment options. Most of all, it gives us time to talk everything through with any concerns you may have and give you the best help we can.

Online Consultations
& Genetic Testing Breakthrough - TrichoTest

Online private consultations are available for those unable to travel to the Inverness Clinic. We are unable to offer digitial trichoscopy examination during this consultation but use online facilities to look deeper at your scalp with magnification at specialist level. The tests are carried out slightly differently but we achieve our suggested diagnosis to begin your bespoke specialist Treatment Plan options.

We recommend our TrichoTest for in-person and online patients - a unique DNA based test engineered to deliver a detailed report listing the treatments that can work specifically for you. Analysis of genetic variations and lifestyle factors determine which personalised hair loss treatments can be accurately recommended where time is precious and we want you to get the best results.

The TrichoTest is carried out using an easy to use postal kit delivered to your door where a simple saliva swab is taken in the comfort of your own home and returned.
The TrichoTest is also available in clinic on request.
Follow-Up Consultations

Follow-up consultation for existing clients who have booked and completed their full Initial Consultation within the last 6 months. Monitor progress on their treatment plan and assess whether treatment can be increased or decreased for optimum results.​
Use your appointment to have your blood test results interpreted by a certified professional.
Some clients may be suitable for online consultation re follow-up depending on condition and severity of case.Not available to new clients who have not completed full Initial Consultation with trichoscopy within last 6 months or existing clients after 9 months.

Express Trichoscopy

Brief scalp analysis - what does a Trichologist see?
This service is a simple express option for those curious to see their hair and scalp. It does not include any clinical diagnosis, treatment plan or consultation summary report. Great for those starting out on their hair journey or want to keep track of their own progress with professional insight.

Scalp Treatment
60 mins £65+
Bespoke scalp treatment perfect for itchy flaky or sore scalps, or those with a lot of build up who want to make sure their hair growth products are able to get where they are needed to begin their hair recovery journey.
Prices start from £55 for routine scalp treatment. Some services are more in-depth and may take longer than 60 mins and therefore be charged at £65 for 90 mins treatment.
