Scalp PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a procedure used to promote hair growth and treat hair loss conditions. PRP is a concentration of platelets derived from the patient's own blood. Platelets are rich in growth factors that play a crucial role in tissue healing and regeneration, stimulating hair follicles, promoting blood circulation and can improve the health and thickness of existing hair. This can result in the growth of new hair. and the improvement of density in treated areas. Typically performed in multiple sessions over several months to achieve optimum results. The exact number of sessions and treatment intervals may vary per individual. It's important to note that while scalp PRP can be effective for certain types of hair loss such as Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA), Alopecia Areata and Telogen Effluvium, it may not be suitable for all individuals or all types of hair loss.
